Ingredients
  

Cookie Cake Base

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour swap with gluten-free flour if needed
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chocolate chips or M&Ms, white chocolate, or nuts

Frosting & Decorating

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp milk or cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Food coloring optional
  • Sprinkles, candies, or chocolate drizzle for decoration

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the cookie dough by mixing butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, and salt, then fold in chocolate chips.
  • Press dough into a round cake pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden brown. Cool completely before decorating.
  • Make frosting by beating butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until fluffy. Add food coloring if desired.
  • Pipe a frosting border around the edge of the cooled cookie cake.
  • Add sprinkles, candies, or a chocolate drizzle inside the border for decoration.
  • Write a message or design using colored frosting.
  • Slice into wedges like a pizza and serve.
