  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can chocolate pudding or pie filling
  • 1 stick unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Spread canned chocolate filling evenly into the bottom of the pan.
  • Sprinkle dry chocolate cake mix evenly over the filling. Do not stir.
  • Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix layer.
  • Top with chocolate chips for extra richness.
  • Bake 40–45 minutes, until the top is set and golden. Let cool 10 minutes before serving.
  • Scoop into bowls and serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes
