Ingredients
  

Apple Cider Cake

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 cup apple cider not apple juice
  • 1/4 cup applesauce unsweetened
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs room temperature
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves

  • powdered sugar for dusting
  • caramel sauce for drizzling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan or your preferred cake pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together cake mix, apple cider, applesauce, oil, and eggs until smooth.
  • Add in cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Stir to combine.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for 15 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with caramel before serving.

Notes

This cake tastes even better the next day. Store covered at room temperature or refrigerate for up to 3 days.
